2024 CMT Awards show includes Toby Keith tribute with Brooks & Dunn, Lainey Wilson

The 2024 CMT Music Awards is set to include a tribute to 2024 Country Music Hall of Famer-elect Toby Keith Sunday.

Keith, 62, a chart-topping country artist with 20 number-one hits, and influential businessman, entertainer and philanthropist, died on Feb. 5 after a nearly 20-month bout with stomach cancer.

The tribute will include Brooks & Dunn, Lainey Wilson, and Sammy Hagar. The trio will all be backed by Keith's longtime band. Special appearances by Lukas Nelson and "Red Solo Cup" video co-star Roger Clemens are scheduled.

The show will be hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and feature performances by Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney, Jason Aldean and Dasha.
